In the Options Window you can customize general settings of MFR. The window is divided into two tabs: General and Undo & Log. Customize how files and folders will be added In the upper part of the General tab, you can customize how and which files and folders will be added to Rename List. Checking Add files instructs MFR to include file names when adding a group of items to the Rename List. Checking Add folders instructs MFR to include folders names when adding a group of items to the Rename List. Checking Add folder contents instructs MFR to recursively drill down into each folder and add files and folders below this folder. The added sub-items are filtered too by the two prior conditions (i.e. checking Add folders and Add folder contents will add a folder name and all it sub-folders. The added items are also filtered by the defined masks in the File Explorer. Checking Save File List last position instructs MFR save the last browsed folder in File Explorer when closing, and browse to it again when opening in the next session. Undo & Log Size MFR saves a log of each renaming operation performed in a log file under the \Logs folder. This log file enables you also to undo the renaming operation. You can view the log and perform an undo in the Log window. Log size can be limited by the options in the Undo & Log tab. Checking the first option disable logging and undo. You will be able to view log and undo the last renaming operation only. By checking the second option you can limit the number of renaming operations to be logged. By default, MFR logs last 10 renaming operations. Checking the last option instructs MFR to logs all renaming operations.
