Filters > Strip Parentheses Filter
This filter strips (remove) text within parentheses (including the parenthesis
characters) from names.
-
You have to select the type of parenthsis to strip:
(...), [...] or {...}.

Unclosed, or not opened parenthsis, will not be stripped.
Example:
Strip (...)
[1999] Sunset in the Tropics (800x600).jpg >>> [1999] Sunset in the
Tropics .jpg
